The Business and Professional Women’s Club of Mission will hold its annual meeting (in addition to its regular meeting and speaker) on Wednesday, May 23 2012.
The Executive has created a new position: 2nd Vice President – for a two year term starting 2012, according to the following by-law of the Club:
ARTICLE VI – EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
1) The officers of this club shall be the Immediate Past President, President, Vice President(s), Secretary and Treasurer.
2) The Officers shall constitute the Executive Committee.
3) Resignations from office shall be in writing, forwarded to the Secretary.
At the AGM, the current executive will have finished one year of a two year term.
We are looking for members to come forward to offer their names as nominees. The time commitment is one executive meeting per month—with a possibility of short term sub-committee work; e.g. Woman of the Year (WOTY) event planning. This year’s Mission WOTY committee is already in place.
Our speaker on "Human Trafficking" will be Salvation Army Representative Delaine Milette.
